To say that our trip to Tanzania was amazing and eye-opening would be an understatement. The beauty of nature along with such poverty was something that must be seen in person to fully grasp what we'll try to convey through photos and videos. Tanzania is very much a developing country with everything that term entails. But the people we met along this journey were all incredible: happy, smiling folks with a great love of life. Many of them were strongly Christian and you could tell with how they went about living their lives.

We flew from Boston to Istanbul, Turkey, waited 3 hours and then took our connecting flight to Dar es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania. After clearing customs and immigration, getting our bags, and driving, via a small bus, to our hotel it was 5:30 in the morning (Africa time) when we settled down to sleep. We spent the day in Dar before taking our flight to Iringa, Tanzania the next day.
