April 2025: Welcoming Team event on 4/27

Join Us for Coffee & Learn How You Can Get Involved!

The Welcoming Committee invites you to a special Coffee & Refreshments Gathering on Sunday, April 27, immediately following the 9:30 AM church service.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with friends—both old and new—and explore how you can share your talents within our church community. No one is too old or too young to make a difference!

There are many ways to get involved, whether you enjoy welcoming others, helping behind the scenes, or lending your musical talents. Some of our on-site ministries include:

✨ Altar Guild

✨ Greeters

✨ Worship Assistants

✨ Coffee Hour Hosts

✨ Sound System Support

✨ Choir Members & Musicians

✨ Lectors

Looking for ways to help out beyond Sunday mornings? We have plenty of off-site opportunities as well! Be sure to check out our newly decorated bulletin boards for ideas.

To help you find the right fit, Mark Donahue will be present with a helpful booklet outlining our ministry teams and volunteer opportunities.

Come enjoy good company, great conversation, and discover the joy of serving! We look forward to seeing you there. 😊

Betty Smith & Welcoming Committee

February 13, 2025: Who we are, and what we're doing.

The Welcoming Committee was established by the council last spring and comprises members Kem Taylor, Dick Topping, Ann Stephen, Rebecca Schrumm, and Betty Smith. Frank Moore serves as our council liaison.

We have been diligently working behind the scenes to update outdated pamphlets for visitors and members. In the near future, you will see the updated trifold brochure, which will be available at the entrance for visitors. We will also post it on one of the bulletin boards, alongside other news regarding our church and its various activities. We extend our gratitude to Buddy Krasner for taking the photographs and to Mark Donahue for his assistance in this project.

In response to the council's request, we have enhanced the exterior signage to align with the prominent Holy Trinity sign visible to travelers on Route 16. Additionally, we have installed two extra handicap signs in the designated handicap area and positioned visitor signs near the front door by the tent area.

During our Welcoming Sunday in November, we highlighted our need for more volunteers. Several individuals stepped forward, and we appreciate your patience as we work on updating the procedures for the various volunteer roles. Many procedures were set aside during COVID, and we are currently reviewing and revising these processes. If you have previously volunteered, please know that you are on our radar, and we will reach out to you soon. For those who have not yet volunteered, we encourage you to consider joining one of the many activities available. The choir is actively seeking more singers and musicians, so please let any committee member or Mark Donahue know how you would like to use your talents. Just like dessert, there is always room for more!!

We wish you a blessed week ahead and look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces on Sunday.
