Online Giving FAQs

Why would I want to give online (eGiving)?

Security and convenience make online transactions an increasingly popular means of donating to an organization.

Plus, our church enjoys administrative savings as your contribution is automatically recorded in our system without any volunteer intervention when you use eGiving.  The need to "count" after every service and the need to manually enter your giving into our system is eliminated.

You also can take advantage of the discipline that recurring donations can provide for your giving.  You can be assured that your pledge will be met with eGiving!

How do I get started giving online?

  1. Choose [GIFT] from the top of the home page and, using your My HTELC email address and password, log into the My HELC Giving Page
  2. Alternatively, you can log into you My HTELC account and then select the "Giving" tab
  3. You can then a) make a new donation, b) Setup a recurring donation (and manage existing recurring donations), or c) View your Giving History

Is my online giving secure?

Yes.  Every transaction is encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the same industry-standard encryption trusted for online commerce with world-class
financial organizations.

Is there a cost to me to give online?

There is no cost to you however, each online transaction does cost Holy Trinity .45 cents.

We ask that you consider adding .45 cents to your intended giving  so that this service is cost neutral to the church.

When will the transaction go on my account?

You set the date when you want your account charged.

Can I give as little or as much as I want?

Donations must be a minimum of $5.00 and there are no limitations on the maximum amount.

What if I make a mistake and need to have a completed transaction reversed?

Contact the church office immediately so your situation can be handled appropriately.
