Reformation Sunday

This year, in 2017, we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.  Holy Trinity will also be celebrating our 60th Anniversary at the same time.  We are pleased to have several events happening at the end of October and the beginning of November to commemorate both historic and important events.

Wednesday, October 25 (7:00 pm): Mark Edwards, a respected Lutheran scholar and Holy Trinity member, will present a free lecture on the Reformation.  This lecture is open to the public, and will be after our 6:00 pm Midweek Worship Service.    

Sunday, October 29 (8:30 & 11:00 am): Holy Trinity will hold special Reformation Sunday Worship Services, featuring a special guest sermon by former Holy Trinity Pastor, the Rev. Linn Opderbecke.  

Sunday, October 29 (5:00 pm): A special banquet hosted by Holy Trinity. to celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation and our 60th Anniversary.  More details to come in our next newsletter and announcements page.

Wednesday, November 8th (7:00 pm): Mark Edwards will present a second free  Reformation Lecture, open to the public, following our 6:00 pm Midweek Worship Service.
