Posted by Mark Donahue on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 @ 11:53 AM

Returning to two Sunday Worship services.

Starting on Sunday September 10th, the Sunday two worship service format begins again for 2017- 2018 program year. The first Sunday worship service begins at 8:30 AM, with a “contemporary” approach and the second Sunday worship service begins at 11:00 AM, with a “traditional” approach.

During the time between these two worship services, members and guests of all ages can share in fellowship, partake of continuing biblical study and/or share thoughts in adult forums.

Worship and Music Teams Vision Statement

The three Worship and Music teams (8:30, 11:00, and Wednesday night) have adopted a vision statement to be used in the formation of our worship services. We would like you to read the Vision Statement, reflect upon your worship experiences by reflecting upon two questions and then share your answers to members of the Worship and Music teams.

WORSHIP and MUSIC VISION STATEMENT

Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church will increasingly offer inspiring worship which propels us to live out Christ in daily living, in which the Holy breaks into our lives and builds a Christian community through liturgies that are carefully crafted and rehearsed, music that is singable, memorable, participatory and flexible, and all liturgical arts. We do this for the glory of God for the sake of the world.

QUESTIONS FOR YOU THINK ABOUT

Reflecting upon your worship experience, what are the ways that our worship services bring you closer to God, thereby accomplishing our vision statement?

What are some ideas about worship and music that you feel we should consider to help us bring God into our lives, helping to achieve our vision statement?

SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH THESE MEMBERS OF WORSHIP AND MUSIC TEAMS
