A Joyful Noise

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations." Psalm 100 (King James Version)

This weekend we got the wonderful news of an anonymous $22,000  donation toward our new Rodgers 599 digital organ which essentially doubles our on-hand monies to above $44,000.  This means that we have over 81% of the money needed to purchase the digital organ. Thanks be to God for this blessing, and to the anonymous donor(s) who wish to make this new musical instrument a reality here at Holy Trinity.

When you look at the specifications of the organ elsewhere on this web site, please remember that we are buying a truly versatile instrument, one that is at home representing the best of German, French, English and American Pipe Organs, and at the same time, able to reproduce the sound of an entire orchestra,  grand and electric pianos, gospel organs, guitars, drums and harps. This organ is at home with both contemporary worship and a traditional liturgy.  Shown below are a couple of links to the Rodgers 599 being played. Please note that these videos only give a small sampling of what this organ can do!

If you haven't yet contributed, please consider contributing. Remember that no amount contributed is too small! If you would like to donate in installments, please see me for details.

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands./Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing." the Psalmist sings. The Rodgers 599 organ will be an inspiration and aid as we come before the Lord with singing.
