Before we begin our Photo Remembrance of the Week, it seems appropriate for us to recognize the work of Holy Trinity’s Historian, Marie Edin.  Marie is one of our eldest and wisest members of Holy Trinity and she was one of the lucky few who attended Holy Trinity’s first service in Newington on June 14, 1959.  She’s provided our congregation with amazing details about how Holy Trinity has grown over the last 60 years, even providing valuable insight that is currently featured in our 50th anniversary book: “A Look at 50 Years”.   Copies of our book are available in the library and soon to be published on our webpage by the end of the year.

It’s been a blessing to see the history of Holy Trinity through the eyes of the photographers who took these photos, most of which we are unable to thank or credit personally.  For anyone who has taken any of these photos and kept them in our building for safe keeping, I want to thank you for helping me to deliver joy to our church as we take stroll down memory lane.  If you have any additional thoughts or details about these photos, please email Mark at the church office at office@htelc.com
